About

African talent. Global possibilities.

Across Africa, millions of children grow up using technology daily and are never shown how it is made. Coasted Code exists to close that gap with practical, project-based teaching — starting in Accra, now serving families in Nigeria, and increasingly online across the continent.

The Coasted Code instructor and operations team

Mission

To equip young people across Africa with the practical technology, creative thinking and problem-solving skills required to build meaningful solutions.

Vision

An Africa where every child has the opportunity to become a confident creator of technology — not only a consumer of it.

Our learning model

Build first

Concepts are introduced through something the learner is making, not ahead of it.

Small live groups

Instructors see every screen and every stuck learner within the session.

Evidence over vibes

Skills are assessed and reported; parents see specifics, not encouragement.

Local context

Problems come from markets, transport, water, school and community life.

From Accra to Lagos

Coasted Code began in Ghana, teaching coding and robotics to children in Accra through labs and school partnerships. Demand from families and schools in Nigeria led to our Lagos expansion, and our online programs now reach learners beyond both markets.

Safeguarding commitment

Every instructor is screened, every live session is moderated, and every parent has a channel to raise concerns. Our full safeguarding policy is published and reviewed each academic year.
