Safeguarding
How we work with children and families
Coasted Code programmes are for children aged 6–17. Enrolment, class communication and publication of student work are designed so a parent or guardian stays in control.

Enrolment
Parents manage access
Guardian enrolment
A parent or legal guardian completes enrolment and holds the account. Children do not register independently.
Structured communication
Staff communication with minors is limited to class sessions and portal tools that can be audited. Private instructor-to-child chat is not enabled.
Parent visibility
Parents see approved progress, attendance and invoices. Confidential instructor notes stay internal.
Live class and publication
Live sessions
Live classes take place on the configured video tool. Meeting links are issued to enrolled accounts and are not published on public pages. We recommend a parent remains reachable during sessions.
Consent for student work
Public project pages include only work with instructor approval and parent publication consent. We do not publish names or other personal details of minors on those pages.
Reporting a concern
If you have a safeguarding concern about a class, instructor or platform interaction, email info@coastedcode.com and mark the subject as Safeguarding. This page describes our operating practice. It is not a claim of external accreditation.
